New Test Administrator
As
of January 1, 2012, Prometric will no longer be administering licensing
examinations for the Michigan Insurance and Debt Management programs.
Read more here. Depending upon seating availability,
Prometric will be administering these exams until the end of
2011. If you have registered for but not passed an examination,
your candidate information will be forwarded to the State's new testing
vendor, PSI. PSI will begin taking registrations on December 15,
2011, and will begin administering examinations on January 3, 2012.
Still in Effect
It
has almost been an entire year since insurance agents (producers)
licensed to transact business in Michigan have been required to supply
the State with a valid email. Effective January 1, 2011, all
Producers must have a valid email address with
the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulations (OFIR), and. OFIR will be
assess $100.00 fine to non-compliant licensees. The Licensing Division at OFIR can be reached by telephone at 877-999-6442 or by email at
